Office Blinds are an integral part of an office decor and characterize the style of the workspace.<\/p>\n\n

Often, however, the choice is limited to solutions dictated solely by the need to \u201cscreen\u201d<\/em> the windows to avoid annoying reflections on PC monitors. On the other hand, the right drapery<\/strong> allows you to change the face of the office, making it more modern<\/strong>, light<\/strong>, colorful<\/strong>, or serve as a functional partition<\/strong> to transform an open space in a pleasant set of spaces used for different functions.<\/p>\n\n

How to choose the curtains or drapes for the<\/strong> office<\/a>? Which type is best suited to the environment?<\/p>\n\n

COLOR,MATERIAL AND LENGTH<\/h3>\n\n

The material is an essential part of the choice of office<\/a> blinds, since it will determine how well the blinds work and how well they will be maintained over time. If they are too heavy, they may not bend sharply, too light and may not fall well. Also, remember the sunlight will fade the fabrics over time. If the room in question gets very bright, it\u2019s smart to avoid bright colors, as they tend to fade faster.<\/p>\n\n

Before you pull out the tape measure, decide how high above the window you want the curtains to start, the panels hanging higher than the window give a sense of height to the room. Designers often hang curtains about six inches above the window frame. Measure from the top of the window to the end. For a crisp, modern look, the panel should be flush with the window. So both worker health and business productivity can be affected by improper lighting in the workplace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Attention to lighting is particularly important for those who work with a VDT, i.e. a computer, and for those who need to distinguish shades of colors (e.g. graphic designers).<\/p>\n\n

Wherever possible, natural lighting<\/strong> should be preferred<\/strong>, and regulated through the use of blinds and sunscreens.<\/p>\n\n

Natural lighting for those working at desks and\/or computers should be from the side (not front or back) and windows should always be fitted with dimming devices such as Venetian blinds or vertical blinds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In addition, blinds also contribute to the proper microclimate of the office<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In summer, the right type of indoor blinds decreases the overheating of the rooms<\/strong> due to the sun\u2019s rays that penetrate through the glass; the blinds, therefore, reduce the need for air conditioning, allowing savings in bills and greater respect for the environment.<\/p>\n\n

In winter, curtains contribute to thermal insulation <\/strong>, which has its weakest link in frames and windows; in fact, glass is a bad thermal insulator, while frames, if old or of poor quality, give rise to draughts.<\/p>\n\n

Curtains reduce color leakage through glass and stop drafts; therefore, even in cold weather, draperies make rooms more livable and save energy and money<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
